Snowboarding in Revelstoke

Last weekend a bunch of us went to Revelstoke skiing/snowboarding for the weekend. I haven't snowboarded in a very long time! 4 or more years! Not knowing anything about Revelstoke three months ago I said "Yeah, I'll go!" How bad can it be....? Never heard of a hill in Revelstoke. Turns out the place opened a few years ago and it has the largest vertical in North America. Still stoke to go tho!

The trip started off really crappy. Road closed from Golden to Revelstoke. The one road there!!! We ended up staying in golden Friday night. Being my birthday we started drinking at the pool. Turns out they opened the road around 10 that night but warned everyone not to travel it. So up at 6am and on the road!!! Roads were in okay shape. Slow and steady the whole way there.

Got there on time. Got our tickets. Got on the gondola to the top. Great day of snowboarding. Besides the bottom. It had rained and everything was ice. but the top was just crazy deep of power. It was my first power experience. and I am now in love! The only thing that wrong that day was my boots were killing my feet. I could only get a few runs in. The runs take you over and hour to get down from the top. Bought a new board over the weekend and got a pair of sweat Flow boots!!! (post pics when everything is installed) Can't wait to go boarding again. Émilie and I might head somewhere this weekend. Thinking sunshine!

Montréal landing

Here is a little video of us landing in Montréal. The flights have been good after my first flight from Calgary to Toronto. Managed to keep dinner down this time!

Loving the new iPhone.

Well. Well. Well. On another plane. So far so good. Emilie and I spent a week in Quebec city visiting all that is great in the city. We went shopping in old Quebec city and saw where they host the Red Bull crashed ice. Wouldn't get me on skates going done that hill. Talk about steep!!! King kong balls on the people that do! We shopped and ate in old Quebec. Belle city.
I notice two things right away. Two feet of snow and it was snowing. And for every 10 cars there was a snow plow. It must have snow over a foot the first two days I was there. Every road was plowed within 24h. Just saying with the money Calgary is worth. I think we can do a way better job.
On my way to London to vist my Mom and Max. It's been to long since ive seen them.

Till next time.
